MRC Unveils Four Shows for CW Sunday

Sorry vampire fans, 'Moonlight' isn't one of 'em

Two weeks after The CW made their upfront announcements, we have word of the new shows that will make up the face of the network's Sunday night lineup.

Media Rights Capital (MRC) announced that they will bring to the CW "In Harm's Way," "Surviving Suburbia," "Valentine, Inc." and "Easy Money" for the greater part of the Sunday primetime programming block. These shows will join the CW's other upcoming Fall 2008 shows "90210," "Surviving the Filthy Rich" and "Stylista."

Beginning at 6:30 p.m. will be the narrative reality show "In Harm's Way," which will take a look at the lives of people who perform dangerous jobs. Executive producer Craig Piligian already had a hit with Discovery channel's "Dirty Jobs," which puts host Mike Rowe in the shoes of some of America's filthiest work environments.

Following that will be the half-hour comedy "Surviving Suburbia," which centers on a family and their new, and most assuredly, wacky neighbors. Kevin Abbott ("My Name Is Earl") will act as executive producer.

"Valentine, Inc." is a hourlong dramedy that revolves around the romantic and sometimes amusing stories that comes out of an agency that mends broken hearts and finds lost loves and true loves.

Finally, another one-hour drama, "Easy Money" will focus on a family that runs a high-interest loan business.

Each of the four shows will begin production pilot-free by mid-June to premiere in September.

An upcoming announcement will reveal the programming for the 5-6:30 p.m. time slot. It's possible that it might consist of "Book of Murphy" and "F.A.T. City," two of four shows mentioned at the upfronts. "Surviving Suburbia" and "Valentine, Inc." (formerly "I.M. Valentine") were also in that group.
