'Criminal Minds' Tracks Down Frankie Muniz
'Malcolm in the Middle' veteran will be involved in the search for a killer
Frankie Muniz, best known as the eponymous star of "Malcolm in the Middle," will guest star on CBS' popular serial killer drama "Criminal Minds," following in the image-shifting footsteps of last year's Super Bowl guest James Van Der Beek.
CBS has scheduled Muniz's episode for Wednesday, Nov. 28, the last night of the all-important November sweeps period.
The episode description stays that Muniz will play a famous comic book artist who becomes involved in the search for a serial killer in Los Angeles. Will anybody be even vaguely surprised if that famous comic book artist turns out to be the serial killer himself? We wouldn't.
The 21-year-old Muniz earned two Golden Globe nominations and one Emmy nod for his long run on "Malcolm in the Middle." His feature credits include two "Agent Cody Banks" films, "Racing Stripes" and the upcoming "Parental Guidance Suggested" and "My Sexiest Year."
