TNT's 'Bar' Admits One More
Natalia Cigliuti joins Bochco legal drama
Cigliuti ("All My Children," "Pacific Palisades") will play a new member of the New York public defender's office who's brought in to help cover the office's huge workload. In other casting news, Mark L. Young will appear on the forthcoming season of HBO's "Big Love."
"Raising the Bar" stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar ("NYPD Blue") as a passionate lawyer in the defender's office who strikes up a flirtatious relationship with Cigliuti's character. One problem: She's married, though her relationship with her husband, a medical resident, isn't exactly rock-solid.
The show also stars Gloria Reuben ("ER") as Gosselaar's boss and Jane Kaczmarek ("Malcolm in the Middle") as a judge. It also features Melissa Sagemiller ("Sleeper Cell"), J. August Richards ("Angel"), Currie Graham ("NYPD Blue"), Teddy Sears ("Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip") and Jonathan Scarfe ("Into the West"). It's scheduled to premiere in September.
On "Big Love," Young will play a young man who gets thrown out of the Juniper Creek compound, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Young has guested on "Dexter" and "The O.C."
