What's It All About? Rita Clements (Sullivan) isn't a soccer mom; she's a rocker mom. Stressed by the demands of work, marriage and motherhood, she forms a garage band with her postal carrier Patty (Campbell-Martin) and unemployed neighbor Owen (guest star Ian Gomez) to put a little spark back into her life. If successful, Rita Rocks could mark a not-so-dramatic shift for a network better known for women-in-peril movies than comedy. If it fails, it won't be due to a lack of effort by Sullivan ("MADtv," "The King of Queens"), who took guitar lessons to prepare for the role. "I play four instruments, none of which are the guitar," she says. "But, uh, Lifetime said that a show about a woman who plays the oboe wasn't really interesting."
