Zap2it Fall TV Preview 2008: Cable Comedy and Drama Series

Zap2it Fall TV Preview 2008: Cable Comedy and Drama Series: The Clone Wars
Cartoon Network

Premieres: To Be Announced
Airs: Fridays

Whats It All About? Set between Episodes II and III of the space saga, this 3-D animated series follows Ahsoka, a young Jedi learner being mentored by Anakin Skywalker during the galactic conflict that pits the Republic and the Jedi against the Separatists and the Sith. The action and design style follows the recently released Clone Wars theatrical movie, and will feature familiar characters -- including the future Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Count Dooku and Yoda. Its like a mini-movie every week, says supervising director Dave Filoni, adding that viewers need not have a degree in Star Wars-ology to enjoy themselves. This will bring and inspire a whole new generation of fans.
