Pilots: Kristin Bauer Is 'Hung' Up
At NBC, Shawn Hatosy signs up for 'LAPD'
Kristin Bauer has signed on to "Hung," playing the ex-wife of star Thomas Jane, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and Shawn Hatosy has joined the ensemble on "LAPD."
Elsewhere, The CW has added recurring actors to three of its shows: Brandon Vayda on "90210," David Giuntoli on "Privileged" and Greg Ellis on "Valentine."
"Hung" stars Jane as a going-nowhere high-school basketball coach who has one prominent asset and who decides to use it to improve his life. Bauer has appeared on numerous series, doing guest spots on "Dirty Sexy Money" and "Bones" last season and also spending time on "Desperate Housewives," "Crossing Jordan" and "Boston Legal." She'll next be seen in a recurring part on HBO's "True Blood."
On "LAPD," a cop show executive produced by John Wells ("ER"), Hatosy will play an officer struggling with a shaky marriage. His recent credits include the films "Alpha Dog" and "Factory Girl" and a recurring part on "Numb3rs." He has several movie projects due for release in the near future, including "Bad Lieutenant" and the Michael Mann gangster movie "Public Enemies."
Former "Road Rules" contestant turned actor Giuntoli will play a high school dean on "Privileged." Details on Vayda's "90210" role and Ellis' ("24") part in "Valentine" are scant.
