Pilots: Gomez, Brown Land FOX Leads
Sharp, Gamble and Conti all land pilots
Hopping on the casting carousel are Sarah Brown, Ian Gomez, Nathan Gamble and Timm Sharp.
Brown, a three-time Daytime Emmy winner for her work on "General Hospital," will take one of the leads in FOX's newly retitled "Company Man," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
You may remember "Company Man" as "NSA Innocent," a drama from several "24" producers focusing on a family man (newly added Jason Behr) recruited by the NSA to spy on his employer. Brown ("Cold Case") will play one of the main character's co-workers. At the NSA or at his defense contractor day-job? The trade paper doesn't specify.
Also at FOX, Gomez ("Felicity," "Jake in Progress") will play the partner of a womanizing veterinarian (Steve Howey) in the comedy pilot "The Beast." Other credits for Gomez include "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and a guest appearance on "Lost."
In other FOX casting news, Nathan Gamble ("Babel," The CW's "Runaway") and Tom Conti ("Reuben, Reuben") have landed the leads in FOX's untitled Victor Fresco comedy. Gamble will play a 10-year-old who deals with his quirky family with the help of his "slightly crazy" grandpa (Conti). Macey Cruthird ("Hope & Faith") has also been cast in the pilot.
Meanwhile, over at CBS, Timm Sharp ("'Til Death," "Undeclared") will take a supporting role in "Hell on Earth," about a deceased Wall Street hot shot (Jason Biggs) sentenced to a literal hell-on-earth. Sharp will play the main character's particularly hellish rooomate.
