'Project Runway' Gets Premiere Date
Bravo's fashionable series returns Nov. 14
Bravo revealed during Wednesday's "Top Chef," and confirmed with a press release Thursday, that its flagship competition series will return Wednesday, Nov. 14. That's just about 13 months after the third-season finale aired on Oct. 18, 2006.
"It is very exciting to be going into our fourth season of 'Project Runway,' and I think it will be the best season yet -- I'm sure the audience will enjoy it," host and executive producer Heidi Klum says. "Fashion is such a difficult business, and besides being great TV, we're proud that the show allows some very talented designers to have a platform."
Klum will once again be joined on the show by mentor Tim Gunn -- who now has his own Bravo series -- and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia. This season's 15 designers will be vying for a feature spread in Elle, a $100,000 cash prize and the chance to sell their designs at online retailer Bluefly.com. The winner also gets a new car.
"Project Runway" is Bravo's highest-rated series; it averaged 3.4 million viewers during its third season. The season-three finale drew 5.4 million viewers, the biggest audience in Bravo's history.
