Fulltime Series Gigs for Pyle, Simmons
Coppola upped to regular status on 'Jericho' as well
Missi Pyle's appearance in the pilot of David E. Kelley's "The Wedding Bells" is getting heavy promotion and, despite the fact that viewers haven't had the chance to see the episode, Pyle will stick around.
Recently seen in multiple episodes of "Heroes," Pyle plays a first episode bridezilla who somehow becomes a board member of the show's central wedding-planning business, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Meanwhile, over on CBS, Henry Simmons has been upped to full-time status on "Shark." Simmons has been a guest star on the James Woods legal drama since its second episode last fall, playing a cop-turned-investigator.
Simmons is a veteran of the "NYPD Blue" beat, as well as the features "Taxi," "Are We There Yet?" and "Madea's Family Reunion."
Also at CBS, Alicia Coppola, visiting and stranded IRS auditor Mimi, will be a regular for the rest of the post-nuclear attack drama's first season. Other credits for Coppola included episodes of "American Dreams" "NCIS," "Medium" and "Crossing Jordan."
