That 'Coupling' magic returns to primetime

Rena Sofer, veteran of near-countless short-lived TV projects, has signed on for guest stints on FOX's "24" and NBC's "Heroes."

The "Coupling" and "Blind Justice" actress will recur on "24" as the wife of Paul McCrane's Graham. McCrane's character was, if you'll recall, one of the villains on the show's fifth season.

On "Heroes," Sofer will play the wife of Adrian Pasdar's aspiring politician, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sofer has completed work on the Lifetime telefilm "The Secret of Hidden Lake." Over the years, she's appeared in everything from "Melrose Place" and "Just Shoot Me!" to "Ed and "The Chronicle."
